Second Chance Checking
We all make mistakes. Yours shouldn’t prevent you from access to a financial institution. We’ll take a look at what is reported by credit bureaus and other financial institutions but in most cases we are able to offer you a product that you can use. Our 2nd chance checking is free and offers many of the same conveniences as a regular checking account but it does have some restrictions. Once you’ve established account history with LHCCU, we’re happy to convert your 2nd chance checking to our regular checking account product.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT: To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents. Please contact the credit union for more information.
